Hey folks! Colin and AJ aren’t just for Christmas! They’ve also been harangued into a couple of non-holiday appearances.

The first, and most significant, was when Colin was asked to portray King George from Hamilton for Nine Network’s special preview of the PBS documentary on the making of the Broadway hit. Cherished party collaborator Allie Magee worked at Nine Network at the time and had her first choice of host bail at the last minute, so she invited Colin to host in character as King George and perform “You’ll Be Back.”

To be clear, Colin really was not comfortable with this. He’s not a performer and he’s definitely not a singer. And boy oh boy does misery love company! Colin immediately called AJ and bullied him into agreeing to accompany Colin for the song. Again, to be clear, AJ was really not comfortable with this either.

The two worked it out though and performed at the event:
