2018: Deleted Scenes

Our original cut of the movie came in a little long so we cut the scene where Colin and AJ drive Lydia to the hotel for the first time. This scene is often cut from televised versions of The Shining, so we just copied that.

And in our demo version of the movie, where we voice all the characters to make sure the lines work, Colin improvised some comedic car noises over the scene where Danny plays with his toy cars. We asked Lydia to recreate this to humorous effect, seen below. It was ultimately cut from the final edit of the film.
